Your products frequently originates from a drawing or is expressed by functional equations. They are then processed further electronically and are available as CAD file or similar. No matter how you supply your ideas, we will process them so that the latest version is always available and can be integrated into our production process.   

In Mastering the electronic data are converted into mechanical quantities. For this purpose, we use different technologies, such as glass mastering or grayscale lithography. For structure depths > 10µm we rely on other processes, such as diamond turning. If you are in the possession of your own master already, we can integrate it into our process chain.

In this process shims are created from the masters. These shims are the moulding tools proper.  In a so-called "family process" we are able to produce almost any number of copies from the original shim so that you can expect completely identical products even after many years.

We apply two different methods, i.e. injection moulding and injection-compression moulding. Depending on the product we select the right method for you.  We work on wafer level as well as in the conventional form. Whether it concerns a single-sided or double-sided structure depends on your design. Utmost precision in the alignment of double-sided structures is always guaranteed.   

Moulding is followed by the separation of your products to almost any external contour which takes places fully automatically and in a highly efficient manner. For this purpose, we apply various mechanical techniques ensuring full protection of the sensitive microstructures and extremely high precision.  In this step it is possible to add downstream openings or holes as well as labels.
