Rotary Club in Suhl visits CDA - Locally anchored – globally connected

How does an SD card work, and what is formed in micro optic and micro fluidic? These were just some of the questions which were answered as 24 members of Rotary in Suhl took a factory tour of CDA. It was a very different visit for both sides, and an honour for CDA. It is seldom that one meets so many people all at once, who are involved in social projects both at home and worldwide. ‘Locally anchored – globally connected’, the thoughts and guiding principle of the Rotary Club, with which CDA could identify itself. Not only has Rotary in Germany sponsored a school for Syrian refugees in The Lebanon, but has also actively supported the fight against polio for years. CDA showed the interested Rotarians innovative products, which are used in medical technology, not only during the factory tour but also in the presentation and following discussion. Both sides agreed at the end of the day that this was a meeting, which has earned a repeat performance!
